Cheers is not only about the categories that make up the liquor segment but also a lifestyle magazine featuring articles on subjects that complement them, we feature food, recipe’s, restaurants and bars, product news, venues, personalities, events and activities – a tall cocktail of content!

Cheers has always been produced and distributed as the custom title for TOPS at SPAR. A decade of association and distribution has made it an industry supported consumer title and a favourite, with a loyal following from the TOPS at SPAR customer. Its primary object has always been to grow the TOPS at SPAR basket and this Cheers has proven to do quite effectively.

2019 and the global Corona pandemic has also had its way with Cheers mag – with massive alcohol sales restrictions and forced closure of liquor stores, the route to reader was abruptly stopped! It was time for Cheers to transform and as with all the Integrated Media titles, it was migrated onto our new and exciting digital platform. Cheers, content published at light-speed, was brought into the world and it has been warmly embraced.

The digital magazine is published bi-monthly on our state of the art platform, it is optimised for mobile and also designed for desktop and tablet. Contributors and regular writers share their knowledge and expertise and add to the high quality of this niche publication.

Cheers also has a clean, modern website that reflects the magazine and is accompanied by strong social media platforms.

Due to the effect that Corona19 has had on TOPS at SPAR unfortunately, as of December 2023, they will no longer be supporting Cheers as their custom title. It remains a jewel in the Integrated Media’s portfolio and every endeavor will be made to continue this.
